2. Payment Timing & Order Confirmation
- Full payment is required at the time of placing your order. Orders are considered confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.
- If payment fails or is not authorized by your issuing bank, your order will not be confirmed. In that case, you may be asked to retry your payment.
3. Currency and Taxes
- All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Applicable taxes, such as GST, will be calculated and added to your order total at checkout. You, as the buyer, are responsible for paying these as per Indian tax regulations.
4. UPI Transactions
Unified Payments Interface (UPI), a fast and secure payment system in India, is available as a payment method at checkout. UPI is regulated by NPCI and overseen by the RBI.
5. Payment Errors or Failures
- If a payment fails after your bank has debited your account, the amount will be refunded within 5–7 business days, upon receiving confirmation from the bank.
- Ensure that all payment details—billing address, card number, UPI ID, and passwords—are entered accurately to avoid delays or failures.
6. Security and Compliance
- Payments are handled via PCI-compliant gateways (e.g., Paytm, Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal). We do not store or access your card or financial information.
- To ensure policy compliance (e.g., PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR in the EU), you may require customers to explicitly agree to terms during checkout. WooCommerce supports this via a terms-and-conditions or privacy policy checkbox.
7. Refunds and Dispute Resolution
- Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment or as store credit, depending on the circumstances and your preference at the time of return.
